The future of Middle Head's 10 Terminal Precinct

January 21, 2021 Marta Sengers
HPG response 10 Terminal.jpg

HPG has previously provided imaginative concepts and plans for the adaptive re-use of former defence buildings known as 10 Terminal on Middle Head. One of those plans for a multi-use centre was designed to protect heritage values; attract visitors to discover the rich military and indigenous heritage of the area; obtain private funding for restoration of these heritage-listed buildings; and be economically sustainable through a mix of public and private functions.

Recently the Harbour Trust sought feedback on the future of the 10 Terminal Precinct. HPG’s vision for the future of the site is: Shaping the future by preserving our heritage, demonstrating reconciliation, and exposing visitors to enlightening and educational experiences.

HPG is concerned proposals have been ignored by the Harbour Trust.
