While the replacement of the amenities facility has been approved, the covered outdoor seating area and proposed additional community space have not. To clarify the matter, what has and what has not been approved is as follows: What is approved What is NOT approved Proposed open-sided shelter (grandstand) Proposed vehicle layover bay – instead of a new vehicle drop-off/pick-up area, arrangements must be provided in the adjacent carpark. Proposed landscaped area – which is to be re-designed, minimising hardstand areas and providing shade trees for park users.

We welcome the Harbour Trust's decision, which reflects the Trust's primary obligation to protect and conserve the environmental and heritage values of Trust land.
