The organisers of the Defence community walk-in information session on Friday 8 May 2026 have informed us that the venue has changed to the Mosman Art Gallery.

Don’t forget our public meeting – May 21

An important date to mark in your diary is the public meeting on Thursday 21 May 2026 being organised by HPG and Mosman Parks & Bushland in the campaign to save HMAS Penguin and the precious Angophora forest. A panel of expert speakers will address the heritage and environmental impacts of selling the site to private interests.

We strongly urge you to attend and add your voice to community opposition to the proposed sale.

You can also find HPG and Mosman Parks & Bushland out and about over the next few weeks, talking to the community about HMAS Penguin: at the Mosman Markets, down at Balmoral Beach and on Saturday 9 May and Saturday 16 May at a stall on Military Road near the Commonwealth Bank (opposite Mosman High School).
