Dear Members and Supporters The Harbour Trust released Draft Concept Visions ( Draft Concepts) for North Head Sanctuary and Cockatoo Island on 1 May 2021 and 4 May 2021. HPG has expressed its concern to the Trust and Minister Ley’s office that they did not consult the community before the release of the Draft Concepts and that the period of consultation for community response is inadequate. Read the Draft Concepts:The Harbour Trust has advised that it will engage with the community to further shape the ideas presented in these Draft Concepts and that the public release of the Draft Concepts is just the beginning of the conversation. As you will see via the links, there are various options for feedback, including webinars, virtual workshops, surveys and pop-up sessions on both North Head and Cockatoo Island. A webinar on Cockatoo is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday 11 May 2021 from 12.30-1.30 pm. Registrations close 9.00 am tomorrow. A video of the webinar on North Head held today will be made available soon on the Trust website.
